Pets shops in the North West - Greater Manchester ?

I am looking for a pet.

Do you know where I can go? I live in Manchester.

I have been to Pets at home but was very disappointed by teh lack of choice for the such a BIG shop.

In a garden centre on the other hand I found marvelous choice of species of fishes but can't find cats and dogs anywhere. Help?

Pets shops in the North West - Greater Manchester ?
Contact the RSPCA or one of the many other rescue centres
Reply:Never EVER buy a puppy from a pet shop. Have you thought about the type of breeder who would let their pups go to be sold to a 3rd party without any idea of where they might end up? Buying from a pet shop is encouraging puppy farming and you may well end up with an unhealthy pup which will cost you a fortune in Vet's bills. You may also be paying more for a poor example than you would from a reputable breeder
Reply:Booths garden centre in Oldham sell fish, birds, rabbits and guinea pigs. Dogs and cats are not sold in pet shops nowadays. What about the RSPCA or Manchester dogs' home?
Reply:no respectable pet shop will ever sell puppies or kittens.

they may have adverts in the windows but they are nothing to do with the shop its self, they are personal ads
Reply:try manchester dogs home, great place, i wudnt go to a pet shop wen u can re-home abandoned animals
Reply:pet shops donty sell cats and dogs in england. go to a breeder.
