When I get home from work at the garden centre where I work two days a week, my feet are so sore I can barely walk. Once I sit down I find it very hard to get up again and have to limp for a few minutes then they ease slightly. They throb and ache for hours. I have tried various kinds of shoes, walking boots and trainers and never wear cheap shoes. The rest of the week isn't too bad. I'm not lazy and don't sit that much, perhaps a couple of hours throughout the whole day.
Badly aching feet?
If you can make a slant board, just using plywood, And have one end on the sofa and the other on the floor, this can help stop the pain. Lay with your legs up and your head down. Do this after you get home from work rather than sit. This will help increase your circulation.
Take a hot bath with 2c. of dissolved Epsom salts. Soak for 30 minutes. The Epsom salts will help eliminate the lactic acid that forms on the muscles from over exertion.
Massage an analgesic cream into the sore muscles. I find the best cream for pain is “Blue Emu,” You can read more about this cream at http://www.blue-emu.com/
Dehydration can cause severe pain in the muscles. I recommend you drink purified water mixed with mineral water 50/50. This will replace the minerals that are exiting your body continuously.
I suggest that adults and children drink 40 ounces of water per 100 pounds of body weight every day. Realize that exercise, ambient temperature, and state of health affect the water needs of your body.

you have what many people get from standing on hard floors
during the day at lunch sit with your legs elevated, use arch supports, at night put an ice cold soda can on the bottom of your foot
exrecise the muscles in your legs and calves, hamstrings etc
go to a podiatrist or orthopaedic doctor
